Gilbert’s Law Outlines are Good, but They are Printed and Have a Poor Exam Writing Section.

Gilbert’s Law outlines are good. They do try to do too much with too little space. The law outline section is usually very good because it has all the information that you need to memorize. However, you will need to put much of the information into a different format in order to memorize it. In each outline, there is a respectable number of questions and answers to help you learn the law. The most annoying and useless part about Gilbert’s Law outline is the fact that they have a tracking chart that allegedly helps law students cross the outlines over to the casebooks they are using. That part is not worth very much.

The law school exam writing section of Gilbert’s Law outlines is usually very poor. Ignore it.

Gilbert law outlines would be rated much higher by us if they were in a digital format. They require you to spend a lot of time typing in information into your class outline. In addition, for some unexplained reason, they have increased dramatically in price over the last two years. Many Gilbert’s Law outlines are now pushing $40-$50 and up.

For first-year students, they have law outline titles for torts, contracts, criminal law, civil procedure, constitutional law, and real property.
