Online sources of Used Law books
There are two main sources for used law books, guides, and aids online. You can use Ebay or Amazon.
Stay as far away from any transactions you can with Ebay, no matter what the rating of the person selling the used law books. We have dealt with the PayPal system and were ripped off to the tune of $238. One of the transactions for casebooks was very wrong, as three of the books were out of date, as they were the wrong edition. We made the mistake of disputing the transaction through their PayPal system and lost the $238. We were the proud owners of out-of-date casebooks, which are worthless. Had we disputed the transaction through Visa, we would have gotten a full refund.
Live and learn, and we once again got casebooks with obsolete dates and immediately disputed through Visa and got our money back. THEN, Ebay BANNED US PERMANENTLY FROM THEIR SITE.
DO NOT SELL OR BUY USED LAW BOOKS FROM EBAY NO MATTER WHAT THE RATING OF THE PARTIES INVOLVED.
Amazon is vastly better for purchasing or selling your used law books but never new books. Don’t be stupid and not spend the few seconds or minutes to figure out you can buy new books direct from the publisher for a lot better pricing than the local college bookstore or Amazon. We purchased 4 used law books from private individuals on Amazon and were very happy with each purchase. We sold 7 books with absolutely ZERO problems. Join Amazon and buy and sell your used law books without hassles.
IF YOU HAVE TO BUY NEW BOOKS NEVER BUY THEM FROM AMAZON. Buy your new books directly from the publisher and save a small fortune. Make sure you can return the books in case of a course drop etc.
