A 1L can Get A’s in Law School by Following this Advice

The folks at Study Partner™ invented what we think is a good course; Get an A in Law School. No one has a product like this. For $9.95 we got a cd with a course outline, flash cards, short form Q&A’s and 50 cases to brief. The cd also has two MP3 files. One is a lecture on offer and the other is a lecture on memorization skills for exam writing. It also has a skill development course to assist you in exam writing. It covers the topic area of offer in contract law.

The advice given on learning, and studying is certainly radically different than the same dribble we hear from all the first year law student books or about exam writing from all the so called experts. All the materials were taken from current Study Partner™ products.

We had five different 1L students that we picked take the course as part of our testing on the product in January 2006. None of the five used the product in the first semester of law school and none got any A’s. After using the course in January, their second semester grades improved to an average of 2.2 A’s per student. From 0 to 11 A’s between them. One student got 4 A’s, 3 got 2 each and one got 1.

Influence is recommended in the Get an A in Law School course as part of how to learn to think like an attorney. We learned more about being an attorney by reading that book than we did in spending all that time in law school and a lot of time in practice. It is a must and we have been given permission to repeat that advice for free from the course. If you are serious about being an attorney you must read Influence.

We can also say that four of us who have graduated from law school have also taken the course and realized how much superior our knowledge of offer has become.

This will be the best money you ever spend on prepping for law school. You can’t go wrong. Even if you don’t buy this course you are crazy not to spend time reading Influence. You will never be played again after you understand how people gain Influence over you.
